The funding to modernise the school came from the largest single investment in specialist school upgrades in Victoria. The school spans across two campuses which were both part of the modernisation.

The New Holland Drive Campus redevelopment included the refurbishment of the Administration Building providing staff offices, meeting rooms, first aid facilities and a reception area. Two new double-storey Learning Buildings with classrooms, break out spaces and staff areas were constructed. A new Therapy Building was built with an indoor court, fitness and dance spaces and staff areas.

Two existing buildings were connected with an extension creating a Resource-Intensive Learning Building for specialised classrooms for food technology, science, music, media and art as well a central area for showcasing student's work, quiet spaces, staff facilities and an upgraded canteen.

New outdoor play and learning areas were designed to enhance learning experiences including a hard court, nature play spaces and a kitchen garden.

The Corrigans Road Campus redevelopment included a new double-storey Learning Building with classrooms, quiet spaces and specialised areas for art, music, science, technology and food technology. Other buildings on the site were refurbished to provide for art, media, technology and multipurpose classrooms while reception, administration and staff areas were refreshed. Outdoor play and learning spaces were also created.
