In this short Q&A, he shares what drew him to erbas™, how his experiences have shaped his approach to engineering, and a little about life outside work.

What attracted you to join erbas?

I was attracted to Erbas because it’s a well-respected consultancy known for its collaborative culture and technical expertise. I felt it would be the right place to contribute my skills while continuing to grow as an engineer through meaningful and interesting projects.

How have your experiences shaped the way you approach engineering projects?

Coming from overseas to Australia has refined my approach to engineering by strengthening my empathy, adaptability, and technical knowledge. I’ve learned to understand client’s needs while delivering practical and compliant solutions.

How do you see mechanical engineering evolving over the next 5–10 years?

Over next 5-10 years, mechanical engineering in building services will be driven by full electrification, sustainability, and smart building integration. Design interconnection, data collection and processing, low-GWP refrigerants and advanced automation.

Outside of work, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy?

Besides really enjoying spending time with my little family, I also enjoy my free time by practicing sports particularly, karate-do, a discipline I’ve cultivated for more than 20 years.
