Award Winning Haining Farm Campus

We are honoured to be part of the team who created the Haining Farm campus for the School for Student Leadership. We congratulate Maddison Architects who won the Minister's Award in the 2021 Victorian School Design Awards for their stylish, practical and sustainable design.

The Schools for Student Leadership is a Victorian Government initiative that provides live-in education for nominated Year 9 Students from across the state to promote positive relationship skills, community building and leadership development.

The Haining Farm campus is their fourth and newest campus located at Don Valley in the Yarra Ranges. The campus combines flexible teaching and communal spaces with student and staff accommodation, a commercial kitchen and storage for outdoor equipment.

The design makes extensive use of oversized commercial skylights, sensor lighting, solar panels and rainwater collection with special consideration of the school’s environmental impact.
