The project refurbished the existing Wollongong Courthouse in New South Wales while preserving its heritage features. The original 1886 courthouse sits alongside a 1970s addition, with the refurbishment successfully blending these elements with a new façade and entrance.
Seven courtrooms are connected via a central atrium, creating a distinguished civic institution for the community, with consulting services provided for mechanical, hydraulic, ESD, vertical transportation, security, and electrical systems throughout the project.
