The works form part of a broader program to renew and upgrade community infrastructure, delivering modern, accessible and resilient aquatic environments to support a growing regional population.

The Richmond Swimming Centre redevelopment comprises the replacement of the existing ageing 1960s outdoor facility with a new district-level aquatic centre. The design introduces a 50m outdoor pool, indoor learn-to-swim and program pools with hydrotherapy capability, splash play areas, and supporting amenities to enable year-round community use.

The Oasis Aquatic & Leisure Centre upgrade focuses on expanding existing facilities to improve program capacity and community amenity. The scope includes a new shallow-depth program pool, additional school and community facilities, outdoor gym, children’s splash pad, covered deck connections, expanded car parking, and water harvesting infrastructure.

erbas™ is providing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire protection, and sustainability engineering services across both projects through concept and schematic design phases, supporting coordinated design development and compliance outcomes.
