We collaborated with Buildcorp on the award winning refurbishment and extension of one of Macquarie University’s oldest buildings.

The works in building E7A included a full service and compliance upgrade, a new extended core, a new solar rooftop and window refurbishment and fit-out. The scope also included a three-level glass atrium with break-out spaces on the ground and mezzanine floors, bridge walkways and galleries to connect the E7A and E7B buildings.

The project was part of a pilot for the University’s ‘One Planet’ target and included numerous sustainability features.

This project won the MBA NSW Excellence Award 2017 in the Tertiary Buildings category.
