Riverstone Police Station

This commission involved the design of modern facilities for Riverstone Police Station, to meet the current and future functional needs of NSW Police.

The 1892 heritage building has had extensions with construction of a new two-storey building and the refurbishment to the existing station. The new facility has a floor area of approximately 3,200m2 including offices, holding cells, interview rooms, meeting and staff facilities.

The design solutions incorporate modern services approaches which provide safe and secure facilities that assist in improving integration between elements of the NSW Police Force, Department of Correctional Services and the Department of Justice and Public Prosecution.

Appropriate Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) has been applied and ABGR protocol was followed.
