Perisher Police Station

The challenge in this project was designing a police station on a site that is covered with snow for almost half the year. The solution was a low-profile structure that could be prefabricated off site and installed in summer.

The new Perisher Police Station will accommodate approximately 20 staff and will include a public front counter and interview rooms, general duty and duty rooms, modern charge room and custody area, meeting/conference rooms, storage area for exhibits/investigation storage, meal room, lockers and amenities, vehicle parking for operational vehicles, secure storage for snow vehicles and equipment as well as police staff accommodation in a separate building.
