The Kingaroy Police Station in Queensland underwent a multi-million dollar redevelopment in 2014 and 2015, resulting in a new facility that houses over 33 Queensland Police staff, including 30 police officers and three administration officers.
The project aimed to replace the existing facilities with a new police station and watch house to meet the current and projected needs for police services in the Kingaroy region.
The project involved the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a new station in five separable portions.
The new station houses over 33 Queensland Police staff, including 30 police officers and three administration officers.
The new facility features an undercover connection between the cell and courthouse buildings.
