Jae Eichorn

Jae Eichorn is State Director of erbas™ | erbas™ SUSTAIN and a building services leader with experience across healthcare, transport, infrastructure, commercial, residential and social infrastructure projects. He is known for bringing practical, coordinated and commercially aware thinking to complex project environments, helping clients make informed decisions and manage risk from the earliest stages of delivery.

Beginning his career as a qualified plumber before moving into engineering, Jae brings a perspective shaped by both the construction site and the design office. His technical background in hydraulic and fire protection engineering provides a strong foundation, while his broader experience across multidisciplinary building services allows him to understand how engineering decisions affect design coordination, construction, programme, cost, operation, and long-term asset performance.

Jae works closely with developers, architects, project managers, contractors, and asset owners to develop coordinated and buildable engineering outcomes. His approach is based on early engagement, clear communication, and challenging assumptions before they become cost, delay, or redesign. He believes successful engineering is not measured solely by drawings or calculations, but by how effectively a project can be designed, coordinated, constructed, operated, and maintained.

As State Director, Jae is responsible for leading the Queensland business, building trusted client relationships and developing a team recognised for practical engineering, responsiveness and commercial understanding. Backed by the capability of the wider erbas™ | erbas™ SUSTAIN business, his focus is on providing clients with local leadership and access to coordinated expertise across Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, Vertical Transport and Sustainability services.
