Brendon’s background is focused on all things engineering, which he loves. His experience ranges from design consultancy and project management to the design and construction of mega projects, including a multi-billion dollar, mixed-use development in downtown Doha, Qatar.
The challenge in Doha was procuring consultants across the globe for design and development while coordinating with local government and exceptional contractors to create a sustainable urban living that reflects the city’s deep routed cultural heritage.
Brendon has worked on technically challenging projects that demand a high degree of expertise and commercial acumen. He enjoys the challenges provided by large multidisciplinary projects and values the importance of truly understanding client needs and realising projects from concept to completion without compromising on the highest of standards.
As well as working in the Middle East, Brendon has also worked in South East Asia, managing consultants across the globe. His focus has been on sustainable development over the last 20+ years. Over the last years in Australia working at Aurecon, Brendon has also delivered large projects such as sport stadiums.
Brendon uses his best practice project management skills, as well as his ability to build strong, open relationships and to manage expectations to ensure that client’s needs are met throughout the contract while maintaining quality work.
He is excited to join erbas™ to lead the team in delivering operational performance and transformational improvement across the organisation, function and culture. Brendon actually chose erbas™ because of our family-based culture which fits in with his values.
Brendon enjoys spending time at the beach with his two young girls, playing tennis and is a fan of both AFL (Pies supporter, but don’t hold that against him) and EPL (Chelsea supporter).
